So does agnus mean lamb? I wonder if the name Agnes is based on that.

You learn something new every day. And then you distort that something into something else.
Constantly amazed by you. What a touching tribue.
Ohhhhhhhhhh - I get it now. I went through most of yesterday without realizing what day it was. Until I got onto CoH and the heroes were holding a tribute on the steps of Atlas. I couldn't bring myself to go look at it, since I'm not good being sideswiped by emotion, but I'm sure it was a hundred heroes in camo costumes all in a military salute. Luckily we have screen capture capabilities, so we'll see pictures on the forums later this week.
What's in a name?

Yep, Agnus means lamb.

My ultra-reliable sources (i.e. google) tell me that Agnes is from a greek word meaning chaste. However, the Church did not miss the similarity between the names, and St. Agnes is often depicted with a lamb.
Man, what would I do without good friends to Google for me? Thanks, Steve.

I didn't realize it was 9/11 until I saw Yvonne's comment. On 9/12.
Not a problem.
The lemur normally only googles for food, but he says this one is on the house.
Tell the lemur to stop panhandling and get back to work on a new post.
Sorry.
The lemur has been busy reading about people getting hit in the eye with sticks and beaten with golf clubs which were left lying about (is that negligent?). However, he is writting, even now, something new...
What do lemurs eat? I'll have a case of it delivered. Hey, wait, don't they like Salmon Pate? I could have sworn I gave that ring-tail a can of that last week!
From the "Sherman Plate" post, it would appear that the lemur eats chicken fried steak (with gravy.)
Actually, the lemur is fond of Nighthawk Salsbury Steak frozen dinners washed down with a nice Aussie Shiraz.
